The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has suspended the gaming license of BTM Entertainment Group Limited, numbered MGA/B2C/350/2016. The suspension came into effect on 31 January 2019.

The suspension is following an investigation into the breach of statutory requirements from the part of the company.

MGA asked BTM Entertainment Group to indefinitely suspend all its gaming operations, cease to register new players or accept any deposits on the Licence and to submit all data and documentation requested by the Authority.

MGA also banned the websites operated by BTM Entertainment Group Limited, or associated with BTM Entertainment Group Limited, and which make reference to the Authority or the above-quoted licence is not approved to be operational by the Authority.

The authority has also asked players who have any outstanding payments from BTM Entertainment to send a mail to [email protected] with the following information:

  1. Name and Surname;
  2. Registered Address;
  3. Date of Birth;
  4. Copy of Passport or ID Card;
  5. Telephone Number;
  6. Description of Product i.e. casino or sportsbook;
  7. User Name; and
  8. Screenshot of Balance or any pending Cash Outs (if not available an estimated balance is to be submitted).

The Authority notifies that no further information shall be released at this stage in order not to compromise any investigations that may need to be performed by the Authority and/or any other competent authority.
