Football Index has agreed a deal to become the front of shirt sponsor of League Two side Notts County for the month of January 2019 – further boosting its sponsorship portfolio.

The Football stockmarket’s branding will hold pride of place during vital home clashes against Cambridge and Newport County, as well as away games versus Colchester, Oldham and Yeovil.

The announcement marks another prominent partnership for the financial and football hybrid, which also sponsors Bristol Rovers and boasts John Motson and Guillem Balague as ambassadors.

Adam Cole, Football Index founder and CEO, said: “Notts County are a side steeped in history and we are delighted to have agreed a deal to be their front of shirt sponsor for January.

“The League Two side have some of the most passionate and loyal fans in football and we see this as a great opportunity to raise our profile and look forward to supporting them to victory.”

Kirsty Edwards, Commercial Director at Notts County, added: “Football Index offers one of the most innovative and exciting products on the market and we are really pleased to have formed a partnership with them.”

Football Index is the world’s first football stockmarket where traders can buy and sell shares in professional footballers with real money. Visit www.footballindex.co.uk for more information.

Football Index is owned by BetIndex Limited, a privately owned Jersey based gambling operator established in 2015. Both the UK Gambling Commission and Jersey Gambling Commission have granted operator licenses to the company which is challenging the conventional ‘event’ based outcomes in traditional gambling products.
