Investment in talent and technology continues as supplier announces record-breaking 80% year-on-year revenue boost in 2018

iSoftBet, the market-leading online and mobile casino software provider, has unveiled former IGT and Playtech slots expert Mark Claxton as its new Head of Games.

Claxton has been in gaming for more than 17 years and created some of the industry’s best performing real-money and casual gaming titles for the world’s biggest brands while working for several large multi-channel games suppliers.

He spent seven years at Ash Gaming/Playtech producing some of the industry’s best-known titles and joins iSoftBet from IGT, where he was Head of Content for UK and European markets.

In his new role, Claxton, a slots enthusiast, will manage an expanding team of senior content developers and specialists and look to build on a stellar 2018 that saw a huge increase in the company’s year-on-year revenue.

The iSoftBet games team has been behind some of the industry’s most successful slots of the year including Hot Spin and Crystal Clans, with these titles regularly being launched as exclusives to the biggest brands in the industry including GVC, LeoVegas and BetVictor before becoming available to the wider market.

The last 12 months has also seen the business complete a host of new production improvements, increase investment in its studio production environment and make some notable senior staff appointments, including further additions to its dedicated games team across its international offices.

Mark Claxton, Head of Games, iSoftBet, said: “I’m delighted to join iSoftBet, a young and energetic company that has come a long way in a short space of time. The management team has huge growth ambitions due to the strength of its games and the power of its Game Aggregation Platform (GAP).

“I want to give our customers’ players an experience they won’t forget when they play our games and, judging by the road map we have in place, they won’t be disappointed. There is huge potential in the talent here at iSoftbet so watch this space for some amazing, innovative titles coming in the new year!”

Michael Probert, Chief Commercial Officer, iSoftBet, said: “Mark is well known in the industry as one of the biggest talents in game design, development and delivery and we’re thrilled to have him here at iSoftBet.

“Like all of the content team here he is a slots player and passionate about creating the best games for our customers across a wide variety of regulated markets. His input and guidance will be invaluable as we embark on our biggest year yet.”
