Eldorado Resorts is planning to move one of its two floating casinos in Louisiana to land by 2020. There was a recent legislation amendment in the state in May, which allows floating casino operators to move their casinos to land.
Gary Carano, CEO of Eldorado Resorts, said that the relocation work of the Isle of Capri, located in Lake Charles, would start in the second half of 2019, with a land-based opening set to take place in 2020.
However, he ruled out the shifting for the Belle of Baton Rouge out of the Mississippi River.
