The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has announced the daily fantasy sports (DFS) revenue for October. Overall revenue is totalled US$2.9 million, about US$800k more than the adjusted revenue reported in September.
Tax revenue is derived through a 15 per cent assessment on the adjusted revenue reported by the fantasy sports contest operators and is deposited into the Commonwealth General Fund. This resulted in tax revenue generated during October of US$435k. Moreover, it was revealed that seven of the fantasy sports contest operators reported tax revenue due.
DraftKings posted the largest revenue with US$1.5 million, closely followed by FanDuel with US$1.2 million.
