Nevada witnessed a surge in sports betting revenue in September as the revenue reached $56.3m. It is the highest for a single month in the last six years. The previous best was the $53m in September 2012.
Revenue rose 27 per cent from August thanks to the start of the new NFL season, accounting for 10 per cent of total handle. The overall amount wagered also broke records at $571m—beating October 2017’s tally of $565m.
