Suncity Group, the Hong Kong-listed company, has signed a partnership with Golden Sun Sky Entertainment, a company running casino resorts in Cambodia. As per the agreement, Suncity Group will provide consultancy and management services to the Cambodian company in setting up and running casinos. .
The first casino resort after the new deal will be located at Otres Beach, in the city of Sihanoukville, and close to the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc, home to several integrated resorts and upcoming developments. It will include a casino, hotels, restaurants, shops and convention space and will be developed through an estimated investment of €310 million and will likely open by the end of 2019.
Suncity Management Consultancy will help Golden Sun Sky through advice and management services that it will provide for the casino resort project. It will also cooperate on further projects to explore new markets. Despite explaining the deal’s details on a Wednesday filing, the fees it would be entitled have not been revealed.
Golden Sun Sky, was established in March 2017 and it’s part of the investment group China Yunnan Jingcheng Group Co Ltd.
