Bank of America Merrill Lynch has hired a senior dealmaker who last worked for a major investment bank in 2012.
Struan Robertson, the former co-head of global real estate investment banking at Morgan Stanley, is set to join BAML in July as chairman of real estate, gaming and lodging investment banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He will report into Jeffrey Horowitz, head of global real estate, gaming and lodging investment banking, and Luigi Rizzo, head of Emea investment banking.
Robertson left Morgan Stanley in 2012 and has since held real estate roles including global head of investment management at the Global Student Accommodation Group.
