The East Windsor Planning and Zoning Commission has okayed the proposed casino development plan.
Joe Ouellette, the Commission’s chairman, said the development plan is right for zoning and offers a valuable economic opportunity.
“We’ve had an eyesore there for a long time,” Ouellette said.” The vacant store. I think it’s a tremendous upgrade in both appearances and it’ll be great for the community.”
He said Tuesday night’s approval paves the way to the the next steps in the site approval plan process.
Ouellette said his hope is to make East Windsor a Connecticut destination.
