This week we’ve asked Bitcoin Conference Prague Coordinator, Natalie Gavrilenko to enlighten us regarding the event she is directing. Bitcoin conferences are getting more popular these days, so we need to have a lookout for such events.
The conference promises to bring together all Bitcoin enthusiasts of Central and Eastern Europe, so here goes our interview:
EEG: If you could introduce yourself it would be great, we want to hear all about you, favourite food, how did you end up being Conference Coordinator and how do you like your job?
Natalie: My name is Natalie Gavrilenko, I’m the Bitcoin conference coordinator, and I work at Smile Expo. I’m in love with my job, I’m in love with Bitcoin and the mix of these 2 things makes me happy! I’m grateful to the universe that I have such an opportunity to do what I like to do and I believe that I do my work well.
EEG: Since our portal is based on business in Eastern Europe, what should our visitor for at the Bitcoin Conference?
Natalie: I’m sure that we can create a unique space in the center of Europe, where all visitors and especially visitors from Eastern Europe will find their future business partners and associates from around the globe. And of course, at the conference we will discuss only the hottest topics and will invite only interesting speakers.
EEG: In your opinion, what is the key element that drives attendance to the Bitcoin Conferences? Why Prague?
Natalie: Smile Expo has decided to expand the geography of its activities due to several important factors. In particular, one of the catalysts has been the changes in the structure of the cryptocurrency market in Russia after the ban and blocking of thematic sites by the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media. After that, many Russian companies operating in the cryptocurrency industry have moved to Europe, where there are no restrictions for Bitcoin businesses.
The Mission of the Bitcoin Conference Prague is to serve as a unique platform to share experience between Russian companies, which have something to say and to show in Europe, and their foreign counterparts.
That is why, in the heart of Europe, in the historic city of Prague, the organizers will bring together not only the Czech Bitcoin community, but also participants from Russia, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, and in general all Bitcoin enthusiasts of Central and Eastern Europe.
EEG: What are the new features this year and could you just shoot us a quick history of the Bitcoin Conferences your company organises?
Natalie: Bitcoin Conferences organized by Smile Expo became the first themed events in the CIS states aiming at familiarization of the participants with the Bitcoin Ecosystem and prospects of running business using it.
The young and professional team of Smile Expo dreams about Bitcoin being a world currency. That’s why we travel to different cities and states to share everything that we and our qualified experts know with you.
EEG: Here’s a funny one, but we had to ask. Will there any celebrities be there? 🙂
Natalie: I’ll tell you more, only celebrities will be there – Bitcoin celebrities!
EEG: If you had to pick a country or destination to travel to, where would you prefer to go?
Natalie: My wish-list of travel is too long for this interview, so I choose only the first two, these are Singapore and Alaska.
EEG: Where you wouldn’t want to travel?
Natalie: To my high school time I was a difficult child.
EEG: And as a closing question, which isn’t really a question, more like an opportunity to spread the word, fire away…advertise the event.
Natalie: The Team of Bitcoin Conference Prague invites speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and partners to participate. Become part in major European Bitcoin event in the spring of 2015!
