EEG: First of all, tell us a bit about yourself and the affiliateprogram you work for. How did you get into affiliate marketing? And why EuroKingAffiliates?

Katerina: Friendly, honest and very diplomatic person living in the beautiful Czech Republic. I have joined the industry 8 years ago, when I started in customer services for a very big online gaming company. Building my way up through the affiliate department as a junior affiliate manager up until now, when I run the affiliate department, this time for EuroKingAffiliates. I am a loyal (also a company loyal) person, this is the 3rd company in igaming I have been working with. EuroKingAffiliate gave me the opportunity to grow the affiliate program for them and be included in the decision making.

EEG: What was the reason you joined the gaming industry?

Katerina: Well, before I joined the igaming industry I simply had no idea it actually existed. At that time I was looking for a London-based bilingual work opportunity where I could use English together with my mother tongue language – Czech. It seemed this industry was the only one needed such an individual at that time. My first job at customer services then quickly showed me how big this industry is and how fast it was growing. I can still see myself how mind-blowing finding that was!

EEG: Does your program have any East European affiliates that you manage?

Katerina: Yes, we do have a few of East European affiliates. Some of the focus on this market, some of them have different market source.

EEG: Are there any super-affiliates coming from these region? We know for certain that a huge group of affiliates come from Eastern Europe.

Katerina: Since East Europe has not been our targeted market, we do not have a super-affiliate from this region yet. We certainly believe this will change also with the help of Eegaming.com. East Europe is definitely the market we would like to go for, especially when we have the resources, such as our casino brands in the East European languages, customer support, retention team and bonus program.

EEG: EurokingAffiliates is the affiliate program for EuroKingCasino.com and ParisVegas Casino.com. What markets do these casinos target, and what makes them stand out in the huge crowd of online casinos?

Katerina: EuroKingCasino is the oldest brand we run, followed by ParisVegasCasino. Both brands dominate on the French market, where we fully accept French-speaking players, we also welcome players from Italy and Spain. Both of our brands are however in 20+ languages, including East European languages. Our team is growing and we can now target rest of Europe. We do have all the resources needed (marketing tools, support, retention team, VIP programs, bonus program, etc). Both of our brands offer a very generous welcome package that can interest small or big players willing to deposit more money. Our daily special promotions encourage our player to play, re-deposit and stay with us. We always make sure our dedicated call team offer special promotions to less active players. All casino teams strive to make their project competitive and help with final conversion. From the game perspective we offer games from various providers, such as Amaya, WMS, SkillOnNet, NextGen we have recently launched a new live casino on Evolution Gaming. EuroKing brand was also face-lifted by a new modern design and ParisVegas will be ready in its brand new coat in few weeks time. What is even more exciting is the mobile version coming live. We are at the final stage of testing and we cannot wait to launch hopefully by the end of March.

EEG: What are your current Rev Share plans and CPA plans you work with?

Katerina: We are willing to test any kind of deal. We always prefer revenue share as we believe this is the fairest deal for both parties, especially with quality traffic in the long run. CPA deal is now very sensitive subject among our competitors, we are however aware that there is still number of affiliates who prefer the CPA deal and we are always ready to test. Our rev. share starts on 20%, but for Eegaming.com followers we offer min. 40% rev. share. Of course for better position we are happy to go higher! Regarding CPA we discuss each deal individually, all depends on the traffic source and different aspects.

EEG: Where do you think the industry will be in 3 years, and of course, where do you see EuroKings in 3 years?

Katerina: Prediction is very hard especially with online gaming industry where the licensing can change everything from a day-to-day. We can see a boom in mobile/smart devices, social media and I believe overall the affiliate part is certainly taking a new direction and opening new sources rather than pure SEO focus.

EuroKingAffiliates.com will not at the same place. We are growing, investing money hiring the right people to fit to our great team. Speaking about affiliate program we still believe  trust, honesty and transparency will remain as key factors in this business hand in hand with strong personal partnerships with all affiliates whether they are small or big. We still would like to stay human, easy to reach and keep working on something we enjoy with even more passion to deliver more to our affiliates and affiliates to us. We have still plenty of markets to reach. We will hopefully launch a new brand to offer to our affiliates.

EEG: Tell us a bit about your office? How is the team? Are there any weird things you guys do as a team or at your team buildings?

Katerina: Thank you for this question, it brings a smile to my face. Our affiliate team in fact does not work as a standard team – all together in one office place. We are all based at home!!! Our team consist people around Europe, such as Czech Republic and France. Casino operation, support & retention team, tech. department and payments are based in offices in Cyprus.

We are all hardworking igaming lovers fully dedicated to our work. We keep in touch on daily basis on Skype, with several calls during the week. Any problem is dealt with immediately. Even though we work far away from each other, we are a very close team, where everybody has his own role, but is still happy to help to others, motivate and work for better of the whole team. I am not saying it is an easy task and not everybody can do it, but we all love it and work twice as hard. I love my team!

EEG: If you would just open your YouTube search bar, what would you search for?

Katerina: I search only for music, energetic to „kick“ and help me going through a busy day. Progressive music in my headphones makes a great job!

EEG: Who is your favourite celebrity and where you would love to travel?

Katerina: Oh my God, when I am being asked such a simple question, I simply do not know who to choose as a favourite celebrity 🙂 I love Vince Vaughn (I find him cute), George Clooney (simply because it is him), Scarlett Johansson (God damn sexy). But also Czech celebrities such as Karel Gott, Ivan Trojan, Lucie Bílá.

I would love to go skiing and enjoy the view of Alps. Otherwise I love any kind of vacancy, such as weekend away, sightseeing, holiday on the beach, wellness, sports … Anything that I can enjoy outside my house and let my brain relax from everyday tasks.
