On October 27, 20116 within the Russian Gaming Week Sochi everyone will be able to listen to the report of “Eric Shahbazyan” (organizer of Russian Poker Tour) – the largest series of poker tournaments in the CIS.
The expert started his entrepreneurial activities when he was a student at the “Faculty of Sociology” at the MSU. His first” brainchild” was Casino Style magazine, which later on was renamed Poker Style.
Interested in poker, Eric Shahbazyan gave up publishing business and focused on the development and popularization of the game. He started with holding Sobranie Poker Open tournament, and then launched the first in Russia TV show Poker Club. In 2009 upon his initiative and under his guidance the first tournament Russian Poker Tour was held. Today thousands of players from the CIS and Europe participate in the tournament series.
Eric Shahbazyan knows for sure how the events, similar to those organized by his team, manage to enhance prestige and attractiveness in any of the places they find themselves in. The expert will share his knowledge on RGW Sochi attendees by reporting on the topic: “The influence of international poker events on the development of Russian gambling tourism”.
