Our list of events revolved around iGaming continues to grow as we strive to bring you all the necessary information’s you need to get started in the online gambling affiliate business. Since we are looking to cover more and more events, we’ve reached out and expanded our palette of events to West Europe aswell. This is how we are pleased to announce a new partnership with SiGMA – The Summit for iGaming in Malta. Since the dates for SIGMA2015 will be announced shortly, we haven’t added the event to the Calender section, but we promise to keep you updated regarding the date of this Summit.
Here’s a brief history of the event and a few details of what to look for in 2015.
The very first edition of SiGMA took place in Fall 2014, becoming the largest dedicated remote gaming exhibition and conference in Malta, with 2,000+ delegates, 60 top-level speakers and about 70 exhibitors. The summit took the whole industry by surprise from a networking, education and business perspective. Cue – mark your diaries!
Given space considerations and a much bigger demand, SiGMA2015 booths were stacked next to each other, creating a cozier atmosphere and making it relatively easy for delegates to stroll from one stand to another. Given that most companies are actually located in the host city, many C-level executives could take some time-out to pass by. It’s safe to say that over the past two days the SiGMA expo floor provided value to all of its exhibitors, especially to newer or smaller companies who are now ready to showcase their products.
Some might still ask, “But why Malta?” In the words of SiGMA event organiser Eman Pulis, “Malta is host to some 300 gaming companies and strong workforce of 9,000. The idea of creating a platform to showcase the industry had been brewing in many c-level executives’ minds. With this feedback and the support from the LGA and the Government of Malta, we took off eighteen months ago and, as a result, the first event has been held, quite successfully it seems. It’s safe to guess that we’ll be back next year with new content and exciting features.” Partner Dennis Dyhr-Hansen elaborates further, “I’m thrilled to see so many affiliates and operators doing business in such a relaxed environment – friends from the industry, networking in Malta. I see a lot of potential in SiGMA becoming an annual event in the best interest of all.”
The goal is to bring together the entire Gaming community, from affiliates and operators through to regulators and vendors. Come Fall 2015, we want delegates to network! Network! Network! Today, thanks also to the LGA, SiGMA has created a community of like-minded people where business concepts and ideas flourish. All the ingredients are there: the timing, the facilities, the summit, the networking events…. We’re looking forward to cut the proverbial ribbon this Fall and make sure that everyone walks out with better connections and business leads.
