NOVOMATIC brings on board Robert Dijkstra as its VP of Business Development and Sales, Asia Pacific

With the intention to foster the expansion of NOVOMATIC in the Asia Pacific, the company brings on board Robert Dijkstra as its VP to lead business development and sales for the region. In his new position, the responsibilities to develop the relationship between NOVOMATIC and Ainsworth Game Technology will rest with Mr. Dijkstra. This is following the current acquisition of a major shareholding in AGT. Consequently, he will be reporting directly to NOVOMATIC CEO, Harald Neumann.

Robert will also back up the NOVOMATIC VP of Global Sales, Lawrence Levy for the promotion and sales of NOVOMATIC products all over the Asia Pacific. He will also assist Ainsworth in the sales of NOVOMATIC products in Australia and New Zealand and help build the market share of both the companies.

Based in the Sydney area, Robert will scope new business opportunities for NOVOMATIC throughout the region. This is a supreme area of growth for the company as it will bolster its reach into the international markets.

Robert has to his credit two decades of gaming industry experience. Before assisting NOVOMATIC on the purchase of 52.2% of the shares of AGT, which was completed on January 5, 2018, he was the Managing Director of Ainsworth Europe, and he will bring this direct experience of both companies to his new position.

Commenting on his position, Robert Dijkstra, said: “I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with both NOVOMATIC and Ainsworth as we continue developing synergies between the companies. I also look forward to working closely with the NOVOMATIC sales team to expand the products into the Asia Pacific region.”
