In their recent press release, the team at William Hill informed their partners of the closure of the Estonian and Portuguese markets.
This comes to the recent regulatory developments in Estonia and Portugal, with effect from June 28th 2015, William Hill will cease to accept business from customers in Estonia and Portugal.
This means that none of William Hill’s products will be available in Estonia and Portugal, though players will be able to withdraw from their existing account balances. Furthermore, affiliates are required to remove all marketing materials from their websites (including banners, text links, etc.) that relate to Estonian and Portuguese bettors.
The international bookmaker/casino and affiliate program would like to take this opportunity to thank all players and affiliates for all your efforts and the joint work together over the past years in the Estonian and Portuguese markets.
They’ve also added that they value this cooperation and contribution and, though William Hill is obliged to cease to accept business from customers in Estonia and Portugal for the time being, they are confident that they will have the opportunity to work together in the future.
This comes as the second closure right after William Hill shut down it’s activity with Romanians.
