The Romanian Presidency announced, through a press release published on the 28th of May, that the Law approving the Government Bill no.92/2014 was signed by Klaus Iohannis. Now, the Law has to be published in the Romanian Official Journal to take full effect.
This comes after The Romanian National Gambling Office – ONJN made the list of documents publicly available for online gambling organizer who are looking to start their business on the territory of Romania. The gambling organizers need to submit these documents to the ONJN, in order to apply for the right to organize and operate online games in Romania. An extra application form has to accompany these documents.
After the entry into force of the law approving Government Emergency Ordinance 92/2014 these documents can be submitted and taken into discussion by the Supervisory Committee from ONJN. This institution will give the approval to organize such games till 31 December 2015.
