Pavel Titov offers a Cost-effective solution to prevent bonus fraud and detect stolen and fake accounts

Published

Our goal is to bring you all the info you need to expose your brand in Eastern and Central Europe as an affiliate or operator.

As most of the operators struggle and fight daily with fraudulent accounts, we found a great service that could make their daily task of keeping out fraud attempts easier.

DupZapper is a company that has been created by gaming industry and technology professionals who envisioned a complete cost-effective solution for fighting abuse by fake accounts, including bonus fraud, that will require little training to use and will not create sunk IT costs to maintain integration.

Their mission as explained by Pavel Titov, is to fight online fraud with well-thought application of technology.

DupZapper solution has received excellent reviews from gaming website managers and won a special prize at the iSecurity 2014 competition held in October 2014.

EEG: Tell us a bit about yourself, we want to know who Pavel really is, the main man behind Dubzapper. Where were you born? What was the key idea of developing this great service?

Pavel: I have many years of technical and scientific background in information security and software development and overall our team combines three decades of experience in online gaming. We have discovered that existing solutions on market haven’t entirely correspond to the gambling industry needs – and the DupZapper was born.

EEG: Since there aren’t so many companies like yours online, where do you think Dubzapper stands now?

Pavel: We like to believe that we have created a complete and simple product that will help to address fraud and account verification issues faced by our clients without the usual burden and high maintenance costs that usually come with more established similar products in the marketplace.

EEG: As we know, you offer Cost-effective solution to prevent bonus fraud and detect stolen and fake accounts. How does the Dubzapper actually fish out these users? Could you share a bit of insight? Not the secret behind it of course?

Pavel: What we have is a great combination of multiple automated checks on each registration that enables building a completed customer profile for a quick decision. Tools that we employ are not a rocket science, but having them working together as part of bigger process is something that we have invested a lot of time and thought. This is a never-ending process, Dupzapper “learns” from past information and ‘evolves’ to become smarter. Interactive interface that we have created pushes uses to act on provided information.

EEG: As a “rookie” of the whole anti-fraud system, could you walk me thorough the process of how this service actually works and maybe narrow down to the key elements and benefits for which Dubzapper surpasses its competition?

Pavel: When a player comes through the door it is important to know who he is, where he is coming from and what his intentions are before investing your marketing and customer services resources. We check, hardware signature, IP address, name and surname, D.O.B and similar data provided by the player in order to identify if the player is genuine. Each account is then assigned a percentage probability of it being a fraud and grouped in a case with linked accounts. We believe that our advantage, on top of solid world-class technology, is in how we present fraud cases and track their progression.

EEG: Since there is a lot of fraud cases going on in the online environment, are there any new genius fraud tactics that you see on a daily or monthly basis?

Pavel: Unfortunately there is no ‘magic bullet’ that will solve all fraud issues. It is a complex and routine work. Fraud is not only about duplicated accounts. It also can be related to money-laundering, unfair betting advantage and the list goes on. We do not promise to solve fraud issues, we only promise to make it easier, faster and cheaper provided that our clients are willing to invest work and assign resources on their side.

EEG: Where do you see Dubzapper in 3 years, are there going to be major developments?

Pavel: We are constantly improving the product – there is so much to catch on. We have a five-year development roadmap and a very clear vision of how product will evolve to be even more effective, keep staying ahead of competition, being able to swiftly respond to the threats of tomorrow.

EEG: As for now the readers have probably made an idea of what Dubzapper stands for and will certainly be looking to get started in contracting your service. How can they start and where can they contact you?

Pavel: They can start using the product simply by registering on www.dupzapper.com. There are no lengthy contract negotiations and complex integrations. You can literally switch it on any website with 15 minutes.

EEG: Alright, here comes the fun part….favourite food, where would you like to travel in Eastern Europe, some part of the region maybe that you haven’t visited yet and favourite destination around the world.

Pavel: Eastern Europe is an amazing travel destination. I always loved fresh organic produce in agricultural regions of Eastern Europe. Combined with rich history of the region it makes it a great place to visit. Being a Russian, I can highly recommend Saint Petersburg if you’re looking for city travelling and rich cultural background, Karelian Isthmus for beautiful northern outdoor experience, Moscow with its neighbouring historical towns for authentic Slavic history and of course Sochi for its unique mix of southern seaside resort and its classy winter sports area located in the mountains just an hour away from the warm sea. Regarding places I haven’t been to yet, I’m looking forward to visit Hungary and Romania after hearing many recommendations from friends who travelled or lived there.

EEG: Where you wouldn’t want to travel in Eastern Europe?

Pavel: I hardly think that such place exist. No matter where I travelled in Eastern Europe – around Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria – I have always been able to make the travels exciting, meet wonderful people and learn and experience a lot during my travels.

You can contact Pavel via e-mail at [email protected].

With an experience of over 8 years in the online gambling industry, as an affiliate, later affiliate manager and consultant, I consider myself a veteran of the industry and can guarantee that you will be served with the most accurate information.
