CEEGC2016 Budapest
5 Reasons You Should Attend the CEEGC 2016 Budapest
Being active in the online gambling industry can bring you and your company many benefits. There is power in being connected to other people who are active in the industry, but it can also be an easy way to network with prospects and clients. Almost 35% of the executives in the online gambling industry think that it is not important to attend all the conferences in the niche, however we must contradict them based on our own experience. We have seen companies come and go and we have noticed on important trend. While some companies involved in the industry choose to skip some conferences and attend only the ones that they have already attended in earlier editions, the smaller companies get ahead and attract new clients. This doesn’t necessarily mean that the conferences that are attended frequently aren’t good for business. However, if you just give a good though about how event organizers try to make their conferences/seminars better than everyone else, by bettering the experience, improving on the faults they have seen at other, to achieve a quality ROI for their sponsors and attendees, you will not miss another new conference ever.
Small business owners are busy, so the thought of taking a few days away from the office to participate in a conference, trade show, convention or seminar can seem like a waste of time. However, these live meetings might be just what you need to uncover new ways to growing your business.
Many think that being around competitors can be a waste of time, or worse, a chance for others to steal their ideas. But not everyone in your business is actually a competitor, as many can be allies and friends. The mindset you choose about participating in events will impact your results.
No matter how experienced you are at your business, everyone can learn. Working in a small business venture can often be isolating, and without exposure to a variety of points of view, we can miss new ideas and trends that can impact future results. The educational aspect of a conference can expose you to new ways of conducting your business and help you discover new markets and of course network, since conferences provide a great opportunity to network. Often competitors from other regions of the country can become valuable resources for referrals and best-practices. Avoiding peers for fear of others discovering your competitive advantage can actually limit your own success. Collaboration is the way to approach networking. While there are those whose intentions can be suspect, most people can help each other uncover ideas and spark inspiration when they get to know each other on a personal level.
Here are five reasons to attend the Central and Eastern European Gaming Conference in Budapest this year:
-
New Stage, beautiful city
Situated on both sides of the Danube River, Budapest’s panoramic views take your breath away. You can’t look around and not think that, in that moment, you’re one of the luckiest people in the world to be where you are. If Budapest’s jaw-dropping beauty will not satisfy your emotional needs, than the food will probably will!
- The HUNGARIAN CUISINE IS HEAVENLY!
The food in Hungary is abundant and affordable — a nightmare for weight-watchers, a dream for true foodies. However, even if you follow a diet or a different gastronomic lifestyle, you will find that all restaurants will offer you the right culinary experience even if it’s not on the menu.
- EVERYTHING IS CRAZY AFFORDABLE
You will find that that in some restaurants, wine and beer are cheaper than bottled water. A quality glass of wine would be about 600-700 HUF (less than $3) and a pint of beer is about 400-500 HUF (just under $2)! Each of our meals are nothing less than excellent, and none of them cost more than about $7. Taxi fares are reasonable and public transportation costs only about $1.50 per ride. Overall, we can say that Budapest is the most one of the most affordable capital cities in Europe.
- THE ARCHITECTURE IS GORGEOUS
There isn’t much to elaborate on this one. You only need to google Budapest and the pictures will hypnotize you, and then hopefully you will attend the event and see it with your own eyes during the visit. Budapest boasts architecture from every era, all overwhelming and all beautiful. Especially the Hungarian Parliament Building. It’s spectacular!
- BUDAPEST’S THERMAL SPRING BATHS ARE REJUVENATING
Budapest is called the ‘City of Baths’ because of its wealth of thermal springs, which possess healing qualities. Perhaps the most famous bath in Budapest is Széchenyi, but there are many other historical baths in the city such as Király, which is one of the smaller baths in the city, built in the 16th century by Turks, or Gellért, which is one of the most beautiful baths in Budapest with its Art Nouveau style architecture.
-
Emerging market, new business opportunities, be the first to know
While most of the online gambling market is focusing on the effects of the Brexit, other have anticipated that moving and expanding to newly regulated markets is a good idea for business growth. Operators who have applied for licenses in the newly regulated markets such as Bulgaria, Romania are witnessing a huge growth of business and seeing a good return of investment.
This trend will continue to rise since now that an antecedent has been set, all the countries in the Northern, Central and Eastern European region are looking to regulate their online gambling markets and enable remote operators to apply for licenses. Such is the case of the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, the Balkans and many more, who are looking to make the necessary changes in order to gain some extra revenues.
With all the new regulatory changes going on around Europe, this the time to attend such a seminar type conference where the top 20 speakers will give their newest reports on the markets and of course share their humble opinion.
The speakers will offer first-hand information from industry insiders as well as regulators, covering verticals such as remote gaming and lotteries.
-
Networking
Networking is the most powerful marketing tactic that will help you accelerate and sustain success for your company or organization! This is why we have designed our conference in a matter on which you can meet and greet or even have private talks with other delegates
Since networking is about making connections and building enduring, mutually beneficial relationships, we are operating as a catalyst to ensure you meet the “right” people to include in your network and expand your sphere of influence.
- It’s not about who you know … but WHO KNOWS YOU!!
Ask any senior executive, politician, community leader or successful salesperson which single skill or habit helped them excel in their career – an overwhelming majority will respond with one simple word… Networking.
- The “Seal the Deal” Area
A special meeting room, where you can have private talks, away from the crowd of attendees to talk figures, terms & conditions or even sign contract. The area is available for sponsor companies and their clients/prospects only as a token of appreciation showed in their interest to support and help us achieve the quality and standards we have set for the conference.
- NETWORKING IS CRITICAL
We are constantly bombarded with advertisements, emails, status updates, special offers and sales pitches creating a cluttered message. Personal relationships enable you and your organization to stand out, rise above the noise and remain top of mind.
-
Meet some of the most successful companies in the industry present in the region
The conference will also set the stage for the Central and Eastern European Gaming Awards(CEEGAwards).
The CEEGAwards aim to create an independent, fair and representative awards event that recognizes significant achievements within the Central and Eastern European gaming industry.
The Awards celebrate some of the industry’s companies for their outstanding contributions to the online sector of industry in their respective fields. We are going to award the top companies of the following 4 categories:

To make the process fair and transparent, we shall select the judges after the Shortlist is created with all nominees being granted access to the voting systems back-end.
The winners of each category will be selected by the Industry and by the Judging Panel. The process shall be organized in a three step process to identify the winners of each category, thereby ensuring that the results are fair and independent.

Stay ahead of the game
The problem with the web is we believe that everything is at our fingertips. And maybe it is. But it’s an overwhelming amount of data that we often can’t crack, or keeps us from the best material. A well run conference will help you get the accurate information and help you cut through the clutter to deliver the best content to stay ahead with your business.
In a technology-driven world and especially in the online gambling market, where new developments are continual and far-reaching, those who stand still will quickly find themselves falling behind. Our conference will offer insight into up-and-coming trends, research, tools and much, much more: ensuring you gain the necessary insight to stay ahead of the game and drive fresh ideas and development for your own business. If there are particular challenges facing your business that are holding you back from success, perhaps the very answer you’re seeking is in the hands of one of the speakers that will be present at the event.
We predict that the first edition of our conference will give an unrivalled opportunity to get all the information first-hand and grant access to insights you need to expand and grow your business. By attending the conference which will be bringing together decision makers from across the entire ecosystem, you will learn about the challenges and benefits present in today’s igaming market.
