Pixion Games Announces Esports-focused Web3 Game Fableborne

Pixion Games has announced their first game, Fableborne, available from later this year. The London-based studio has formed to build competitive multiplayer mobile-first experiences that are accessible for everyone in bitesize sessions.
The game, which has been under development for more than 18 months, is an action RPG blended with strategic base building, created by seasoned industry veterans with experience at leading studios and publishers including Konami, Blizzard, Riot, King, Sony, Wargaming, Pixonic, Ubisoft and NCSOFT to name a few. Over the last two-and-a-half years, Pixion Games has been prototyping, testing, and killing games multiple times to validate the fun gameplay, before turning it into the extensive production that Fableborne has become today.
Fableborneâs core gameplay loop is easy to pick up and does not requires a huge time investment, but still provides a deep and engaging experience to keep players challenged.
Introducing Lunchtime Esports
With Fableborne, Pixion is introducing a new category of competitive play, âLunchtime Esportsâ, a unique concept that brings the world of esports to everyone at their own pace. Living under the âPixion Leagueâ banner, the experience takes an asynchronous approach, meaning competitive play happens whenever suits the player, all in-app.
Unlike traditional esports, the easy to pick up nature of Fableborne means that even players with little time can enjoy the game and reap the rewards of competitive play. However, the depth and complexity deliver an engaging ongoing challenge as players explore the lore and venture into the mysterious Shatterlands at their own pace, building their standing in the âPixion Leagueâ as they go.
Play to Own in Fableborne
âPlay to Ownâ disrupts the usual âPay to Winâ and âPlay to Earnâ models in mobile and blockchain gaming. In Fableborne, players can acquire digital assets through a direct purchase, or by playing and accumulating rewards in Pixion League. By making Heroes and many more aspects of the game NFTs, Pixion is giving players an option to truly own their customised Heroes, islands and other in-game items, making playersâ investment valuable without requiring them for progression.
Ultimately, Pixion wants to create a fairer economy by making NFTs more accessible to all players. In this case, players can start playing for free, progress, gain rewards and claim their NFTs. Pixion aims to drive a strong, player-powered game economy that is meaningful and engaging for all levels of player.
âFableborne is a competitive mobile-first multiplayer game, but it doesnât demand an unreasonable amount of playersâ time. Players can have a fun, rewarding and enriching experience, battling other players or completing quests, creating smart and powerful strategies over their lunch break or as they travel. We all know the struggle of finding the time to have satisfying gaming experiences and keeping up with the competition. Fableborne is the antidote to this â a new category of esports games that fits around your lifestyle and plays the way you want it to,â Kam Punia, Founder and CEO of Pixion Games, said.

When Logic Finds a Face: Meet Refie, ReferOnâs New Living Interface
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Refie, the new living interface inside ReferOn, itâs here.
ReferOn, the next-generation affiliate management platform, has launched Refie â a built-in interface layer that gives the platform its own awareness, making interaction faster, clearer, and more human.
Refie represents a new level of interaction within ReferOn, designed to make complex affiliate data easier to perceive and act on through visual feedback that turns system logic into something instantly understandable. He now lives inside the platformâs interface, appearing on onboarding screens and system state pages, where he reflects how the system feels and responds in real time.
Refie isnât a chatbot or a mascot â heâs an integrated UX layer that connects technical precision with human intuition. By reducing noise and guiding attention naturally, he helps affiliate managers work faster while avoiding mistakes and staying aligned with live performance data.
We like to call this approach âlazy intelligenceâ â systems that think before you do so you can focus on what actually matters. Refie is the first visible step toward that.
Roadmap: From Awareness to Assistance
Refieâs introduction marks the beginning of ReferOnâs next development stage.
Heâs the foundation for what comes next: gamification, engagement, and, ultimately, intelligent assistance. Through him, weâll introduce a more interactive, rewarding experience where every action feels meaningful. Over time, Refie will evolve from a visual signal into a personal AI agent â the intelligent core of the ReferOn platform.
Vlad Bondarenko, ReferOnâs Head of Product, commented, âRefie isnât just an add-on or feature â itâs a reflection of how our platform and team think. For years, affiliate platforms have been built for reporting, not for people. We wanted to change that. Refie was born to simplify. He embodies how we think about technology: clarity, control, and connection should feel natural, not forced.
With Refie, ReferOn has learned how to say hi â not with words, but quietly, through awareness. Itâs how the system shows it understands whatâs happening. He represents the moment ReferOn moved beyond functionality and toward awareness, emotion, and intelligence. The launch goal is to show that the era of faceless B2B tools is ending.â
The ReferOn team will showcase the platformâs latest innovations at SiGMA Central Europe in Rome (Booth 5044). There, attendees can explore the system in action, connect with the team, and experience Refie â the living interface making its first public debut.

To mark the launch of the 100th brand in 2025, SOFTSWISS, an international technology provider with over 15 years in the iGaming sector, will host a unique live show at SiGMA Central Europe 2025: the pit-stop-style assembly of a sports car, which will be gifted to the client behind the milestone brand on the final event day. This will be the first time a real vehicle is assembled live on the floor of an iGaming expo.
Over the three days of the event, a professional crew will assemble an Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition in real time, transforming SOFTSWISS Stand 4015 into a high-performance pit lane. The ceremony starts on 6th November at 13:00 at Stand 4015.
âWe believe every milestone is a shared success. This car represents precision, collaboration, and speed, the very values that define both racing and iGaming,â said Olga Resiga, Chief Business Development Officer at SOFTSWISS. âBut more than that, this live build is a statement: we donât just talk about innovation, we put it on display â in motion, in real time, and in front of the entire industry.â
Another major moment of the show will be the unveiling of the 2026 iGaming Trends Report â one of the industryâs most anticipated releases. Created in collaboration with NEXT.io, the report will offer a comprehensive outlook on the technology, regulatory shifts, and market dynamics shaping the industry.Â
The launch will take place on 5 November from 12:00 to 16:00 CET during the 2026 iGaming Trends Marathon by SOFTSWISS at Stage 2: People, Partners & Performance.
