JACK BUTLAND CALLS ON RANGERS FANS TO HELP END HOMELESSNESS IN GLASGOW

Published

Jack Butland has called on Rangers fans to show their support for tackling homelessness in Glasgow and sign-up for the Rangers Big Ibrox Sleep Outs – which encourages Rangers fans to sleep out at Ibrox.
On Friday 14th and Saturday 15th November, Rangers fans will brave the elements and get a glimpse of the nightly conditions those who are street homeless face. As part of their support of the event, 32Red will contribute the first £10 to every participant to kickstart their fundraising.
Jack Butland said: “Over the last 10 years, the Big Ibrox Sleep Outs have made a huge impact on tackling homelessness in Glasgow. These kind of initiatives are invaluable and the work both Rangers Charity Foundation and 32Red do for these is amazing. As a Club and as players we understand the importance of the community work off the pitch as well as on it and we are proud of our supporters for continuing to take on this challenge or support those who are doing it to help people who don’t have a home to call their own”
Half of the funds raised from the Sleep Outs will benefit the work of Glasgow City Mission and Simon Community Scotland, with the other half going to support the Rangers Charity Foundation’s life-changing work in the community. Those who attend the Friday 14th Sleep Out will also receive a complimentary ticket to Rangers v Celtic Women’s at Ibrox prior to sleeping out.
Glasgow City Mission’s Winter Project is committed to providing people with routes out of rough sleeping and ensuring that they have access to a bed. Glasgow City Mission is the world’s first City Mission and has been at the forefront of compassionate care for the city’s marginalised since 1826.
Simon Community Scotland believes everyone deserves a safe place to live. They provide information, care, support, accommodation and homes to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
This season, the donation from the Sleep Outs to Simon Community Scotland will help to provide basics such as winter clothing (jackets, hats, scarves and gloves) and moving in packs which contain essentials for a new home, as well as supporting the charity’s Connect Hub for women experiencing homelessness.
David Henson, Supporter Engagement and Events Executive, Rangers Charity Foundation said: “Our supporters have been incredible over the last decade, raising over £358,000 for homeless charities via the Big Ibrox Sleep Outs, as well as additional funds for the Foundation’s own work in the community and with its charity partners. They have really taken this particular cause to heart. I think homelessness is something many of us see in the city every day, so it really struck a chord with fans and the Sleep Outs were a great way to get involved and do something positive while at the same time having the experience of spending the night in our iconic Stadium. We hope our 11th annual Sleep Outs continue to be a huge success and help two vital causes working to end homelessness in Glasgow.”
Elyse MacKinnon, Project Manager, Glasgow City Mission Winter Project, said: “The support of the Rangers Charity Foundation over the past decade has been incredible! It has allowed us to expand the winter project and having that extra month each winter has allowed us to support so many people who would have been at risk of rough sleeping. The Rangers supporters have managed to raise just under £277,000 for Glasgow City Mission alone over the years. To the fans who have taken part over the last decade and the ones who are going to do it this year, I truly just want to say thank you. It’s amazing what the supporters of the Foundation do, and it’s incredible that ten years later they are still supporting the winter project.”
Murray Easton, Head of Fundraising and Communications, Simon Community Scotland said: “The support of the Rangers Charity Foundation has been amazing, as its support we can reply upon. More people are homeless in Scotland now than ever before and we are at the frontline of that. The last winter was the most challenging we have experienced as a charity – the weather, the number of people rough sleeping or coming into our Hub looking for all kinds of support. To know that we’ve got regular support from the Rangers Charity Foundation is so important.”
Since 2015, the Sleep Outs have in total raised £358,500 for the community and tackling homelessness. Through their ongoing support, 32Red have contributed over £56,000 towards the events and continually support the work of the Foundation and their charitable initiatives.
Adam Gaskell, Head of UK Brand Marketing, FDJ United said: “We are continuing our support of the Big Ibrox Sleep Out by once again contributing the first £10 of sponsorship to every participant. This is an initiative we’ve been proud to support for many years as it aligns with our overall brand message of helping the local community and giving back. We want to thank everyone who has signed up so far and for supporting such a worthy cause. We hope that we can raise a lot of money to help those experiencing or at risk of homelessness”

Boomerang Partners celebrated Golden Boomerang League winners and engaged booth guests with a gift auction at SiGMA Europe 2025

Published

on

Boomerang Partners, an affiliate marketing agency and an Official Regional Partner of AC Milan, participated in SiGMA Europe 2025 in Rome from November 4th to 6th, 2025. The company’s booth generated heightened interest among conference participants throughout the event. It was designed in the signature ‘Boomerang Arena’ concept, effectively connecting sports and modern technologies. The booth was divided into several themed zones dedicated to football, tennis, basketball, and boxing, as well as locations for sports-related activities.

One of the main highlights of Boomerang Partners’ participation in the Rome event was the announcement of the Golden Boomerang League winners. This sports traffic tournament took place from September 1st to October 31st. It involved current and new Boomerang Partners’ affiliate partners. 68 teams, which generated 20+ sports FTDs for brands from Boomerang Partners’ client portfolio over the two-month tournament period, made it to the final draw. On November 4th, the company determined the winners using certified randomization tools. The winners became:

  • QQMedia (prize — direct access to the annual Golden Boomerang Awards tournament)
  • Apex Media (AC Milan Experience package, including paid flight, accommodation, and attendance at an AC Milan home match at San Siro Stadium in Milan)
  • Luis Xavier (AC Milan Experience package, including paid flight, accommodation, and an AC Milan home match attendance).

The CEO of QQMedia commented: “Those who know me understand that I work with some of the largest operators in the industry, but Boomerang Partners will always hold a special place in my heart. What they are building is truly impressive, and I am proud to be part of this journey, witnessing how Boomerang Partners is steadily evolving from an underdog into a true power player.

A big thank you also goes to their entire team, especially the affiliate department, and in particular to Lilli, whose outstanding work, constant availability, and solution-oriented approach deserve special recognition.

The next goal is of course to win the Golden Boomerang Awards 2026, and we will give it our all to make that happen.”

Boomerang Partners’ booth guests could play ping-pong with promoters, who were actually professional players in disguise, as well as participate in Soccer Penalty Shootout, bowling, volleyball, tennis, and badminton using Nintendo Switch Sports. For participation and wins, they received chips of various denominations. Chips could also be earned by completing tasks on the Wheel of Fortune, ordering drinks at the bar, and even finding them in the open areas of the SiGMA Rome venue. On November 5th, Boomerang Partners hosted a gift auction at their booth, with chips as a currency. These prizes were raffled off:

  • Luka Modrić (AC Milan) signed jersey
  • iPhone 17 Pro Max
  • Ray-Ban | Meta Wayfarer smart glasses
  • Apple AirPods Pro 3

Those participants who failed to win the auction were in for a surprise. The next day, November 6th, a gift shop with items of varying prices opened at the Boomerang Partners booth. Booth guests could exchange chips for these gifts, which included, for example, AC Milan t-shirts, electric air pumps, instant photo printers, and other prizes.

Anton Eshtokin, Chief Marketing Officer at Boomerang Partners, commented: “Continuing the development of the ‘Boomerang Arena’ concept, we tried to bring numerous sports elements and meanings into the booth atmosphere, thus once again revealing our sports DNA and strategic vector. We traditionally applied the formula that connects business solutions, entertainment, and marketing activities.

We strive to make our booth a place that attracts partners and media, putting considerable effort into preparation, and believe that we have managed to solve the set tasks. We are already preparing for iGB Affiliate in Barcelona and invite you to visit our booth in advance.”

Boomerang Partners are ending 2025 on a major note, but they’re not saying goodbye for long. Stay tuned.
