FairPlay joins Mastercard Start Path, shaping the future of AI-driven finance
Mastercard just announced the latest cohort of Start Path, its award-winning startup engagement program, and FairPlay has been selected as one of the eight companies pioneering the next generation of financial technology.
Why does this matter? AI is playing an increasingly critical role in financial decision-making—determining who gets approved for a loan, what terms they receive, and even how compliance is maintained. But without the right infrastructure, AI models can reinforce old biases instead of driving better, more inclusive outcomes.
“My vision for the future of financial technology is to build fairness infrastructure for financial services, allowing all financial institutions to de-bias their digital decisions in real time,” says Kareem Saleh, CEO of FairPlay.
As part of the Start Path New Networks program, FairPlay will work with Mastercard and its partners to scale solutions that help financial institutions refine their AI models, fix blind spots, and ultimately improve both revenue and outcomes for consumers.
With AI decision-making under increasing regulatory and public scrutiny, this collaboration raises important questions about the future of financial technology that Saleh can speak on:

Oddschecker Named Official Betting Technology Partner of The Jockey Club
The Jockey Club has announced a new partnership with oddschecker, which sees the UK’s leading betting comparison service and FairPlay Sports Media brand named as its Official Betting Technology Partner.
This partnership will see oddschecker providing odds, betting journeys, and exclusive offers across The Jockey Club’s digital platforms, including the newly transformed app and web pages, further enhancing the customer experience for racing fans.
As part of the arrangement, oddschecker will play a significant role in race sponsorships across several Jockey Club venues, beginning with Grand National Trial Day at Haydock Park on Saturday 15th February.
Oddschecker will also partner The Sefton Novices’ Hurdle on Ladies’ Day at the Randox Grand National Festival before partnering contests at The Betfred Guineas Festival at Newmarket, as well as Haydock Park, Exeter, Cheltenham, and Sandown Park.
In addition to race sponsorships, oddschecker will be the sponsor of The Racing Room for all four days of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival, providing an exciting and immersive experience for guests.

Swintt unearths the riches of Ancient Egypt in Horus Treasure
Having continually re-invented the way players enjoy classic slots with its Premium collection, in-demand software provider, Swintt, has raised the bar once again with Horus Treasure – an all-new Egyptian adventure that features an innovative Quad Spin mechanic.
Boasting a maximum win of 6,000x the bet, Horus Treasure is a five-reel, 10-payline game that features treasure chests, sarcophagi and ankhs among its unique symbols.
